**Job Summary:**
As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for potential residents. Your primary responsibilities will involve marketing available units, conducting property tours, processing lease applications, and assisting residents throughout the leasing process. **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Showcase Properties:** Conduct property tours and highlight the features and benefits of each unit to prospective tenants.
- **Customer Service:** Provide exceptional service to current and potential residents, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- **Lease Transactions:** Assist in the lease process by preparing and reviewing leasing documents, conducting background checks, and ensuring compliance with fair housing laws.
- **Marketing Efforts:** Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants; utilize social media and online platforms effectively.
- **Maintenance Coordination:** Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure property upkeep and address tenant maintenance requests.
- **Follow-Up:** Maintain regular contact with leads and follow up on inquiries to encourage conversions.
- **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant interactions in compliance with company policies.
- **Conduct Market Research:** Stay informed about local rental market trends and competitor offerings to provide insights for pricing and promotions.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, sales, or customer service preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (experience with Yardi, Rentec Direct, or similar platforms is a plus).
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and lease terms is preferred.
